We talk Football !

Yes girls it's the football world cup !! and it seems like everybody it's talking about, your friends, on all TV programs, in songs ... and especially your boyfriend !!
It's true that all the boys don't love footbal, but the majority did !! and if your boyfriend is one of those who doesn't admit that you can not make the difference between a free kick and a penalty ... we will review the basics of football to impress him and share his passion !!
Ok girls ! I know that the majority of you don't care a lot about it ! but let's try, we gonna explain some of football rules .

1- The field of play : is the surface on which the game of football is played on, it must  have a rectangular shape.

2- The Number of Players : According to the official soccer rules, a team can bring in 10 outfield players and one goalkeeper on the pitch and can have several substitutes on the bench.

3- The Player's Equipment : Basically the rules of football say that a player must wear a shirt or jersey, footwear, shin pads, shorts and socks and the two teams must have different equipment so that they can be differentiated on the pitch.

4- The Referee - Well he's the man in black. his role is to enforce these official rules of soccer "in connection to the match he has been appointed to". The center referee is accompanied and helped by two assistant referees (one on each side of the pitch) and a fourth one that handles small issues like showing injury time duration,

5- The Duration of the Match - Standard adult games are limited by the official soccer rules to two halves of 45 minutes each, separated by a 15 minutes break.

6- The Start and Restart of Play : -Each period of time starts with a kick-off, -f the ball goes out on the side lines, the player who last touched the ball conceded a throw-in, -The goal kick, -a corner kick, -An indirect free kick, - A direct free kick, - A penalty kick, - The dropped ball occurs when the referee stops the game for a special reason (an injured player ... )

 7- The Offside : A player is in an offside position when he or any part of its body is closer to the opponent's goal line than both the ball and the second last opponent.

8- The penalty : penalized in football team who commits in his own penalty area and while the ball is in play, one of the ten faults for which a direct free kick shall be awarded.

9- The red card means a player is penalized with a penalty, usually expulsion.

10- the yellow card : is used in many sports, and means that a player is within the scope of a warning. If he receives a second yellow card, it becomes a red card and the player is expelled.
